Fundamental needs of human life are funded through basic rights. The fundamental rights have been recognized and protected by the Indian Constitution. Fundamental rights can not be changed through the passage of general law. In order to change the rights, the constitution has to be amended, without the amendment, the fundamental rights can not be changed. As per the amendment to the 44th Constitution of 1978, property rights have been excluded from the fundamental rights. There are 6 types of fundamental rights given to Indian citizens in the current constitution.
